The Top Notch Angus Ranch has been home to one of northern Montana’s elite Angus herds. Over the last 30 years, the ranch has supplied seedstock for area ranches through the Northern Premier Angus and Milk River Angus sales. In addition to the Angus program, Patty has a high quality flock of ewes, producing club lambs for 4-H and FFA contestants state wide.

The area along the Bears Paw Mountains, has long been known as one of the best upland bird hunting spots in Montana. Heavy populations of sharptail grouse, Hungarian Partridge, and pheasant, combined with perfect bird habitat along just under one mile of Clear Creek frontage, provides an ideal setting for the avid hunter. Whitetail deer, mule deer, and antelope can also be found in the rollings hills and draws just west of the headquarters. The Bears Paw Mountains, are also home to some of the largest elk in America.
